Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations

JML School, Khar is affiliated with the CISCE (Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations) Board, New Delhi. This is the premier National Examination Board which continually strives to incorporate the very best in the prescribed syllabi with a commitment to excellence, in keeping pace with, and even anticipating changing times.

The curriculum throughout the primary and secondary years under the aegis of the CISCE board, New Delhi, has been designed to culminate in the ICSE exam (Std. IX and Std. X) in accordance with the recommendations of the National Policy on Education,1986.

Indian School Certificate Examination (ISC Std. XI and Std. XII) is also conducted by the CISCE, New Delhi. This too has been designed in accordance with the recommendations of the National Policy on Education,1986. This curriculum is continually upgraded to follow the New Education Policy, as well. It is the Junior College extension of the ICSE (Std.

NIOS

National Institute of Open Schooling

JML School is affiliated with the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), a Delhi-based Board, that caters to the needs of a heterogeneous group of learners. Established in 1990, NIOS is an independent board and believes in, ‘Sustainable inclusive learning with universal and flexible access to quality skill development.  NIOS follows its own curriculum, culminating in an examination. Successfully passing this examination provides for a certification that is on par with a Std. XII passing certificate. This is an alternative option to the formal system of education and offers opportunities to large sections of young students to be eligible for college admissions.

International Award for Young People

Jasudben M.L School is affiliated with the Duke of Edinburgh International Award, now known as The International Award for Young People (IAYP).

This programme is offered to students aged 14 years and above. It is a non-competitive and individual-based programme where the student chooses activities or subject themes that are appropriate to their environment and best suited to their respective personal interests and talents. This forms the theme for the student’s project. The IAYP is designed to nurture perseverance and enterprise. Any student including the disabled is eligible to participate and contend for the Award. The aim is for students to work on this project during their leisure time in order to acquire new skills, experience adventure, and make new friends; young and old.
