To celebrate our National Language and the diversity of our Country, JML hosted ‘Hindi Utsav’ an inter-school competition, as an extension of Hindi Divas on 24th September 2022.
We had 20 participating schools with 196 participants. Some of the events included Semi-Classical/Classical – Solo Singing, Hindi elocution, Semi-Classical/Classical dance, Poster Making, Hindi Elocution, Funny Hindi Advertisement, Hindi Essay Writing, Rangoli etc to name a few. This event was spearheaded by the Indian Languages Department, with Ms Meena Sharma at the helm.
From start to finish, it was a tale of glory. Students from varied schools in the city showcased their multifaceted talents and awed the judges and audience alike. After a lull period due to the pandemic, spirits were on a high which was clearly reflected in the enthusiasm of the students and teachers. On the whole, it was a day well spent with everyone eagerly looking forward to next year’s celebration.
